Cal Frare, hereinafter, RESPONSIBLE, is the person in charge of the processing of the personal data of the User and informs him that these data will be treated in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) relative to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and to the free movement of these data, which is why the following information on the treatment is provided:

End of treatment: maintain a commercial relationship with the User. The operations planned to perform the treatment are:

Referral of commercial advertising communications by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social communities or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that allows commercial communications. These communications will be made by the RESPONSIBLE and related to their products and services, or their collaborators or suppliers with whom they have reached a promotion agreement. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data.
Conduct statistical studies.
Process orders, requests or any type of petition that is made by the user through any of the contact forms that are made available to you.
Submit the newsletter of the web page.
Data conservation criteria: they will be preserved as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the end of the treatment and when it is no longer necessary for this purpose, they will be suppressed with adequate security measures to guarantee pseudo-data or total destruction of the they themselves

Communication of the data: The data will not be communicated to third parties, except for a legal obligation.

Rights that assist the User:

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • Right of access, rectification, portability and deletion of your data and the limitation or opposition to your treatment.

The Users, by marking the corresponding boxes and data entry in the fields, marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or presented in the download forms, expressly and unequivocally accept that their data are Necessary to meet your request, by the lender, the inclusion of data in the remaining fields will be voluntary. The User guarantees that the personal data provided to the RESPONSIBLE are truthful and is responsible for communicating any modification thereof.

The RESPONSIBLE informs and expressly guarantees to the users that their personal data will not be transferred in any case to third parties, and that whenever they carry out any type of transfer of personal data, the consent will be previously requested, informed and unequivocal by the Users. All the data requested through the website are mandatory, since they are necessary for the provision of an optimal service to the User. In the event that all data is not provided, it is not guaranteed that the information and services provided are fully adjusted to your needs.


That in accordance with the regulations in force in personal data protection, the RESPONSIBLE is complying with all the provisions of the GDPR regulations for the treatment of the personal data of his responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in article 5 of the GDPR, for which they are treated in a lawful, loyal and transparent manner in relation to the interested party and appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are treated.

The RESPONSIBLE guarantees that he has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to implement the security measures established by the GDPR in order to protect the rights and freedoms of Users and has communicated the appropriate information so that they can be exercised.



  1. Number of people: it is not allowed to stay at Can Puig with more occupants than the number agreed on when the reservation was made. The maximum capacity of the house is of six occupants (including children), 1 folding bed.
  2. Equipments:: In the house there is an inventory including all kitchen items, electrical household appliances, and bed and bath linen. These documents are always at the customer’s disposal. In case items are missing when checking out, the amount will be deducted from the deposit.
  3. Baby and toddler equipments: crib, highchair and stroller are available for the costumer in case needed, with no extra charge. Ask the owner to check availability.
  4. Environment: to protect the environment, it is recommended to make a rational use of all devices, as for example to not have the AC and/or heating on with the windows and/or doors open, to switch off interior and exterior lights when going out, and to making a rational use of water.
  5. Firewood: firewood for fireplace is at the costumer’s disposal. (Not available in summer)
  6. Maintenance, preservation of the house and civic commitment. During the stay the customer is responsible for the cleaning of the house. The customer commits to acting and behaving civilly, respecting the environment, nature, and neatness inside and outside the house. In case there is any evidence of vandalism, drunkenness, hustle, or reckless use of the house and its equipments, the owner has the right to finalise the rental agreement at any time. In this case, the occupants must abandon the house effective immediately. When checking out, the customer must leave the house in a reasonable state of cleanliness, leaving it in the same conditions as it was found. If this is not the case, the owner has the right to charge the amount of 50€ in concept of additional cleaning service.
    Cleaning service is available for customers at 15€/hour, this service will have to be paid up front.
  7. Price: The total price of the accommodation depends on dates selected, plus tourist tax, the customer agrees to pay the price upon arrival at the beginning of the stay, in cash (no bank checks or credit cards are accepted). Bank transfers are also allowed prior to arrival.
    The price includes all costs arising from water, gas, electricity, heating and firewood.
    In any case, at the end of the occupation, the customer will also have to pay any amounts derived from complementary services (not foreseen in the price originally agreed) of which eventually has arranged during the stay (cleaning services, transport services, etc. ).
  8. Pre-Boooking and deposit: Understood as pre-booking the time elapsed since the customer’s verbal or email confirmation until payment of 160 € as deposit.
    This amount will be retained by the owner as a deposit and returned within no longer than 72 hours since departure time as long as no damages have been caused. Should the owner notice any damages, the amount will be withheld until the damage has been repaired and the cost of such damage has been proven through an invoice, being the customer charged or refunded whenever applicable.
  9. Cancellation of reservation: In case of cancellation of the reservation the owner will have to be notified accordingly. The cancellation of the reservation within thirty days prior to the Arrival date implies the loss of the amount paid in advance, which will be available for the owner of the tourist accommodation.
    In the event that the cancellation of the reservation is based upon the decision of Can Puig due to force majeure, the deposit amount will be refunded in full and will provide alternative accommodation dates should this be desired by the customer.
  10. Animals: Pets are allowed in the accommodation with a supplement.
  11. Smoking free space: The house is a smoking free area, therefore smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the house.
  12. Responsabilities: The signature of this agreement disclaims the customer of any liability for the owner in relation to a possible accident that may occur to any of the occupants of the house.
  13. Effectiveness: For the effectiveness of this agreement the customer must return a copy thereof, duly completed and signed, to the owner of the accommodation at the time of entering the rented accommodation.
  14. Observations, precautions and other rules: Be aware that Cal Frare is a house built prior 16th that has been restored maintaining lots of its original elements (stares, stair handrails, etc.). We recommend you to be cautious.
    Customers have at their disposal touristic, cultural and naturalistic information about the area. We are pleased to help and provide you with more information. A list with emergency contact numbers and other interesting sites is also provided.
    Please respect at all times the tranquillity of the surroundings and its people.
    Electricity, water and firewood are to be used rationally.
    Always keep the entrance doors closed, especially when going out, the same as you would do at your home.
    Garbage is not to be left in the house or the entrances of the house. It has to be disposed of at the collection point nearby the public parking as indicated by the owner.
    The furniture and equipments of the house have to be used with care. This is the only way for us to guarantee to all our guests maximum comfort and tidiness. Adding or introducing other furniture, stereo systems, etc. is not allowed nor altering the existing in any way.
    It is prohibited to make use of the house and its surroundings for any other purpose than the one established in this contract. This also includes activities and conducts contrary to the public order.
    The owner is not responsible for any of the customer’s personal objects, including vehicles, and can therefore not be held accountable for any loss or robbery of private items.
    The costumer confirms knowing and accepting the mentioned rules, conditions and recommendations, and commits to respecting these at all times. Otherwise, the owner reserves the right to cancel immediately the reservation with no refund.
